While managing these entities within Surveyor 2.0 is okay, it's inconvenient. Having this ability within Content Manager would be much easier. This could work in a similar fashion to Pick-Lists, but with the ability to pin, unpin, and delete them as needed would not only make this process easier it would also allow us to prune and archive all of them whether they are downloaded or created internally.
Recommended addition. A scrapbook manager within Content Manager.
