Railway Photography ( Hi Res warning )

Train pictures

Unfortunately, I do not take many pics of trains on the line, but I found some pics on the Internet.
Sadly I cannot make them bigger.

This one is not the same one as the second one by the way.

I do not take credit for these photos.

Hi All
Please remember that there is an 800*600 limit on images outside of the screenshots forum.

Please ensure that your images do not exceed this size. I have changed the ones that I could find, that are oversize, to links.

Thanks

That isn't appropiate for this thread, as its not your photos.

Here are a few of mine:

2010 (JUST!), the coke cans I now endure to uni. Well, its not that bad to be honest, they are nice units and much more stable than the Class 377s they replace. Nokia E72 mobile phone believe it or not. Enhanced in Photoshop.

Early December.

From one extreme to the next. The hottest day of the year and I wish my little Mk1 Clio had Air conditioning, ask trainzluvr37deltic about that! He was near me when we took those shots.

Were these photos taken by yourself or simply lifted from the Wiki site?

I believe that if you copied them from another source you should acknowledge that source and the original photographer of the pics.

You should! Which can lead to a lot of implications. However, I think for the respect of the authors of the photos, this thread is about YOUR photography, not anyone else's.

Yep, I agree, it's about photos personally taken by the individual poster, not unacknowledged copies of another persons work.

Taken by me on 19.4.81 here are 55002 K.O.Y.L.I and 55019 Royal Highland Fusilier meeting at Gainsborough Lea Road when ECML diversions were on via the Joint Line (nothing to do with drugs BTW). As a happy coincidence both are preserved so could (in theory) meet here again. One day I may have a go at Photoshopping out that damned sign!

On the same day here is 55016 Gordon Highlander (also preserved) entering Sleaford station heading north with 1D02. I've just done a leap from the train on the left hauled by 47453.
