First, let me say this is not a complaint. I'm running TS2010
After downloading/installing the Miyabi route - but NOT YET downloading the missing assets as outlined in the message by Dave:
"... Have you seen the original thread announcng the release of the routes? You may find your answers here:
http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=73903
Then this one has some answers also:

..."
Anyway, I was in a hurry to checkout the route and assumed that any missing assets would simply not show up. I loaded the route with Content Manager, ran an extended database repair, and then launched TS2010.
On the initial screen, I selected START and what I ended up with was a window the full width of of my monitor, but only about 1/2 inch high. It just hung. I expected to see the normal screen asking me to select a route.
I manually killed TS2010, repeated the Start, and got the same 1/2-inch high window.
Apparently I screwed up somewhere.
Am I correct in assuming that missing assets simply don't show up and that a missing asset won't cause the software to "hang"?
Did I mess up by not downloading ALL the missing assets?
I had to reload TS2010 to get the software to run normally again.
Has anyone else on this forum run into a similar problem? If so, I'd surely like to find out where I screwed-up.
The Miyabi Coastal route looks very interesting and I want to download it - but before I do, I'd like to find out where I erred.
Thanks,
Wes
