Boy, talk about a prolific creator. I think most of my downloads have been your buildings and trees. But what I want to ask, is about your toetoe bushes. Very interesting. I googled it, but all I could get was some tree called the old man toe, and had an edible fruit or something, but had a smell that would knock a fly off a dung heap. Just for my curiosity, could you provide maybe where I can find out more about them? Sure would appreciate it. TIA

Here's another question for you, what file formats are needed to build up 3D objects for Trainz? I took a look through the folders of some addons and didn't see much that I recognized, but I have a bit of experience with some modeling programs and paintshop and am thinking about giving some items a try.

Thanks,
Greg

TRS2009 would be the one... though I guess I could also do TRS2006 using compatibility mode, but the massive shortage is TRS2009 so if I get around to it, that would be where I put my efforts...

Hello Greg. Since I only build for 2004 I can't help you much. I can tell you that gmax and the Trainz Asset Creation Studio, have worked well for me in building pre-2009 content.

After doing some looking, I found out that apparently Trainz 2009 comes with an XML importer, but I can't seem to find it anywhere... I don't suppose you know how I can get access to it (I know you do 2004/2006 only stuff, but maybe someone can point it out to me?)

Thanks,
Greg

Thanks Dave.

Very interesting. I wonder, however, if it will grow here in the North California central valley. (Sacramento area).

Neither are native to North America so knock yourself out!

Do you have Pampas Grass in Sac? If you do you can use the Toetoe since it looks identical to Pampass Gras. Neither are native to North America so knock yourself out! ;)

There is also my pampas_3 on the DLS.
