Porducts - None Appear For Cars Or Industries?

I faintly remember that if just one commodity/product is faulty you get no products in a list of available items. I have disabled all of the commodities on my system except two. But when I use ? to add commodities/products to a car it says none are available. I understand that a car may not be appropriate for a certain product but I believe it should at least appear in the "available" list.

This is the script error I get:
Grainhopper : ProductFilter.DoesAcceptProduct> null product (file productfilter.gs) (2)

It depends. Either you've got a problematic product installed (disabling it will not remove the effect it causes) or you are missing one - check for missing dependencies in Content Manager.

From my experience, you cannot "open for edit" or "disable" the faulty product and get the other products to reappear. You have to remove/delete the faulty item. It may take a while, but I'd start by trying to recall when you were last able to get the products to appear. Hopefully, it was not long ago. That would mean the offending product is one you installed after whatever date you were last able to see the products. Start copying those to a CDP a few at a time and then deleting them. Go to Surveyor and see if the products appear. If not, you know the products in that CDP of probably good. Repeat this process until the products reappear. Once the products appear in the available list once again you will know the bad product is in the last CDP you created. Reinstall that CDP and copy those one by one to a new CDP and delete until the products appear again. Since I've had this problem a number of times over the years, anytime I install a new product I always start Surveyor and try to add a product to a railcar. If the list does not appear I know that I've just installed a faulty product. Saves a lot of time this way.

Are Disabled commodities/products ignored when the product list is created for a car/wagon?

I did an Extended Repair last night.

I deleted all commodities. This left only built-in commodities. Same problem-no commodities found when clicking on the "add commodities" plus (+) sign..
Essentially I had no commodities available. I next enabled some one at a time but nothing showed when trying to display commodities/products.
I am now wondering if the filters used to decide which commodities are bad have an issue. That sounds like a reinstall - I would rather use
Trainz than fix Trainz. Maybe someday that will happen.
