Hi there ,does anyone know when you use pevsoft PM2IM this makes a im file but do you then delete the pm file.there is nothing in the help file to say delete the pm file. Any help would be greatful as I have installed 2010 and in CM there are many of my assets from my files showing up faulty in CM.many thanks George

The .um and .pm files are referenced in the config.txt file. If you remove or change the reference then the .pm file will not be used and thus maybe deleted.

My problem is making the batch file so I can use it in CM. Can anyone give exact directions as to how to make it? The instructions in the tutorial assume that everyone knows, but since I never had to do it before... Using W-7
 
In Win 7 the "Program Files" folder may have a different name if you are using the 64 bit version. You need to alter the OpenWith batch file to have the correct "Program Files" folder name. Use Notepad accessory to create the batch file as set out in the help or readme.txt with the program.

I have a new laptop with 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium and it has 2 Program Files folders. 64 bit programs go into the Program Files folder and 32 bit programs go into the Program Files (X86) folder.
