Optimal Nvidia Settings

Hey gang!

Is there a post that discusses Nvidia settings? Have searched with little luck. I'm trying to speed frame rate up with a Nvidia GTX 260 card. Can anyone offer help?

After I tweak the Nvidia settings I am going to work on getting the dog under my desk to fart coal gas instead of her current frequent foul emmissions!

I posted what I did for a GTX 8500 and 2009, won't help with newer cards though.

Just make sure the settings use the Trainz 2004 ones, are "use the application settings" Performance, single monitor and overide gamma is off.

Also use DirectX on Nvidia cards, OpenGL seems to have got worse with 200 series cards upwards. When I was using a GT240 it was unusable in OpenGL but fine in DirectX.

The part about limiting the fps really helped me.
