Trainz12 graphics problems

I should have clarified my response.

TuneUp utilities is a separate program, not affiliated with AVG. You can find it here. TuneUp is an optimizer and clean up program.

I am running AVG Free 2012 and TuneUp Utilities 2010.

Friend of mine is a programmer and he doesn't like any of these tune-up programs which basically mess with your registry.

With other utility packages I would agree as I've seen them mess up stuff. This set is a bit different. My brother installed it on his PC first and the machine didn't blow up. LOL! Seriously, it has things like a broken uninstall cleaner, drive checker, defrag, and temp files clean up. There are other system optimizers, but I've never run them. Yes, these are things that are available in Windows already, but by making them all available with a single interface this makes them more available to the user, and the user is more apt to use them.

AVG TuneUP is a really great way to perform these tasks because they're available with the click of a button. The newest version is happy with Win8. The older one had permissions problems. Apparently there are some underlying changes in Win8 that we're not all aware of yet.

Only thing I will say about AVG Tuneup is that it's not a free program. You get a very short grace period then you have to pay an annual fee.
