Odd problem in TRS2006 SP1 (Script Error)

I am getting a strange script error when replacing one station with another - the script error happens right at the start of Driver (screenshot to follow)

Any ideas why replacing a station (Brick Station Large > Station Platforms 1 155m) would cause a script error in Driver?

Specs are in the signature.

Well what does it say? what kind of script error? what are the set up and commands used? where have you placed them/it? That's not much of a full description of your problem. Tell the full story of what you have done and would like to do. ;)

Error itself: Am attempting to get screenshot for that.
Driver Setup/Commands: Mostly the standard ones (I think the problem part is NavigateToIndustry)
Attempting to do: Replace an existing station with a new station - buildings in place but error appearing in Driver.

As I said, here is a screenshot of the error:

I've got a small problem. I am only replacing a couple of instances of the kuid in question, not all instances.

Is there any way in TRS2006 to do a 'selective replace'?

An update to the problem - it appears to be related to when a train attempts to call at that station, and looks for a track '0'.

Any ideas why it may be looking for track '0' and is there any way of correcting it? (In the meantime, I am reverting back to the previous station)

Shane

Not yet. Do I need to?

I would think so. TRAINZ uses the kuid table in the route config.txt file to load the required assets. I assume that if you leave the old kuid # inplace or just add the new kuid # it will try to load them both into your route. Whenever I substitute one asset for another, I make it a rule to remove the old kuid# from the config.txt file and replace it with the Kuid# for the replacement asset.(after making sure it not faulty in some way). I have been doing this since I began editing the built in routes in 06 and have pretty much eliminated crashes and error messages. I guess I just don't trust surveyor to save all my changes when doing a lot of route editing.

PS Is there any special reason your screen shot resembles a bowl of spaghetti?

Its due to the line layout in the area - it was meant to be sidings, but seems to have gone a bit awry.

The problem I now have is that I have only replaced a few instances of that kuid in the route, not all of them. Is there any way on TRS2006 to sort that one out?

A further update to the problem - Last time I had the problem, I had to re-configure the schedules of trains that called at that station. Are there any ways of easily replacing one station stop in several schedules?

If you want an idea of how much work it is, I am having to replace commands for trains that call at Wolverhampton (UK users will know what I mean by a big job)

Changing any industry asset will break your driver commands unless you change the offending Drive to command. They usually show as a red "X" in the command bar.

There is no easy way to do it, in either TRS2006 or later - you will have to inspect each set of driver commands and change where necessary.
