An afternoon trip from Upper Hutt to Wellington - non stop.

Following this, an EE departs for Johnsonville. Two cars only due to a desparate shortage of rollingstock. With only one month to go on the hill, many sets have been condemned in order to feed their parts to the others that are still running.

Recently had a hard drive failure and quickly learned the value of keeping the backup copy of any route you are working on up to date (ie mine wasn't!). Thankfully it is mostly retrievable anyway.
On the plus side I found some clips from then I was playing with FRAPS. I've had a go at stitching them them into a couple of movie clips linked to below.

Now back to inspecting my route and seeing what is still missing...

Today one of the last EE's had a test run on the Kapiti line, Seen leaving Paekakariki.
Seen between the tunnels on the Pukerua bank.
Also Seen at South Junction.
later that day, I got to drive the SuperGanz to Waikanae seen coming along Raumati straight, Not much diffident
to the normal Ganz cab. :hehe:

Hi all, Yesterday I got to see a 6 car Matangi at South Junction.
And the trip Back, Seen also at South Junction.
Today I was driving A Ganz Mavag Unit to Waikanae, Passing my updated overpass at Mackays Crossing.
The trip back also at Mackays Crossing, That's all for now.

That's just the default user title for the amount of posts you've made on the Forum (I presume it changed when you hit 100 posts). This can easily be edited to anything you like though by simply clicking on the 'My Profile' at the very top right corner of the page, then click on 'Edit Profile' in the list on the left. On the page that then appears just enter whatever title you'd like in the text box under 'Custom User Title' and click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page to change it. 
Incidentally, this isn't a recent addition, it was added to the forums quite a while ago.

I hear there has been some shocking weather in the capital for the last few days. An Up freight slowly makes its way north through the Tawa Valley and the rain - at midday!

@ Mrrangi: You're most welcome. I've used Vbulletin-based forums for many years now so I know a few added features of them.
@ Ryan: excellent pics as always. I think the photographer in that last pic is cheating death though!
If you don't mind me asking though, what are the signals shown in your screenshots in your last post? (Specifically, the searchlight signal in the second image and that junction one in the last pic.) I'm very curious to what they are (as I have some routes they'd be perfect for).
