Hi all well now I have TRS2012 working it would seem that there is alot of NZR locos and rollingstock that well not work in 2012

hi mrrangi: all you need to do is go into Program files x86, Auran, ts 2009, world custom, trains and then pick what your train is then inport it
Thanks for the heads up - I'm quite partial to the DJ - as previous pics I've uploaded would attest. I've been holding off upgrading to TS2012 precisly because I was worried the upgrade wouldn't be kind to older rolling stock.
Having said that, a newer version of the model wouldn't be an entirely bad thing...

I have a "new" Da in the making at present, so there's one you can cross off your list. Also, a friendly reminder to all N.Z. Trainzers - I have my TRS NZR Groups discussion forum, click on "community" at top of this screen, then "groups", then TRS NZR Group - I don't seem to be getting much activity in there. I shall be making all my announcements within that group discussion forum from now on.

Hi Jeranthesteamengine, My "Trainz paint shed" I had to download because my "Ts2009" did not have it, So the file your talking about I don't have, Anyway I found a file in Paint shed called "Skins" but yet again It wasn't there so maybe I might have to go to the old way of reskining so thanks anyway. :hehe:The DJs work in TS2010 for me with just a little bit of fixing. I have read on the forums that anything that works in TS2010 will work in TS12. A Da that works in TS2010 is available on Trainzone. Have not looked at the Orange and Yelloow DX yet but I don't think it will take too much to get working.

Hi Chris,
First check you have Kazak's updated bogeys kuid2:61258:50005:3 and kuid2:61258:50001:3
Also make sure you have kuid2:61258:3096:1 with the original mesh.
Edit the loco in explorer and navigate to djxxxx_art folder, in the folder there is a file named 'djxxxx_art_512.texture.txt'
Delete that file. One last thing, edit the config.txt file and remove the tag 'light-colour 255,255,255'
Close and re-commit
After this there will still be warnings about PM. meshes and aliases. which can be fixed if you really want to,
but they will work without fixing the warnings.

I think it's time I did some additions to these screenshots. The first one is Ja1271 in it's home area, climbing the Raurimu Spiral.
This next one is Ja1271 on an excursion train in the South Island, arriving at Wynton Flats to pick up more passengers.
There is a variety of Ja versions, both std gauge and 42in gauge available from http://www.paulztrainz.myenet.info/
complete with custom cab and engine spec for TS2010 at very reasonable prices.
