The bogey I've got for the standard cars is <kuid2:116035:2050:1>.
The bogey for the 'generator' car is <kuid2:2512:50254:1>. They are two different gauges, but I haven't got around to standardising them both one way or the other.
Thanks Ryan I will try and look for them ;)

Due to a severe shortage of serviceable Johnsonville EE's, the two 2 car red sets have been in service on the hill for the last few weeks. We travel to town on the set this morning. Seen at Khandallah waiting for a cross.

Hi mrrangi,

Can you tell me what vehicle you are using for the power car?
Second car in the Metlink pic. I have been hunting for one like that.

Hope you had a great Christmas,
Cheers,

Hi Bill, It says that you made it in cmp and ccp. It's on the dls under "Nz Metlink brake/2ndopen 42in".
PS Its a redskin of a "BR passenger car". :hehe:

Freight Through the Y

With the Christmas/New Year works on the NIMT, the Wairarapa Line is again proving its worth. On Boxing Day, we see train B31Y approaching Masterton from Woodville

The combination of a full train and a hardworking DFB and DXB combination meant that the earphones were definately required on the Rimutaka Range

Passenger runs starting again today

Hey guys, Happy New Year to all ...

With the re-start of passenger train movement on the Wellington lines today, we saw some weird connections due to the delays caused by recent work on the Kapiti Line. Overlooking Linden station, I saw a 3 car set Matangi coupled to a 3 car set Ganz heading north quite slowly. About an hour or so later, this 'combination' returned to Wellington quite quickly.

About a minute later it was followed by a 3 car set Ganz which stopped, and again another minute later saw another 3 car set Ganz, again stopping. Quite a back log of sets backed up I guess!

Still a bit of work to do on my route, but as always, will be a continuing work in progress.

Darryl :)

Hi Darryl

When I saw your^ post, I cracked up because not often you see this. I wish I was there to see this but oh well not every train spotter see's the same thing.
Cheers Jamie:hehe:
