NYCTA! pics!

Platform Gap

There is a platform gap of 0.20 meters from the subway car door to the platform proper that Strain kindly pointed out.

It has nothing to do with A/B Division differences as the stations are meant to be universal. I have to re-model all of the subway stations and re-release to fix this problem. I'll be working diligently over the weekend to correct this problem, and provide updated links.

Sorry for the inconvenience gents.

Due to a post about the station third rails not touching the paddles on the trains, I have recalculated the measurements of the third rail for the stations and tunnels--and they're the same. Check the placement of your tracks once you've laid your stations, since the third rails are static and cannot be moved. If you move the track too far out, this problem can occur.

Damn a lot done! Are you going to release the (4), or (5) seperate, or with the (1),(2), (3), and (6)? Cuz it looks like you are done with the (4) and (5). Just out of curiosity. Thanks a lot!

The entire IRT Division will be released as one route. This will be for TS09 and up. Keep in mind that just the tracks and stations are laid. Signals, signs and scenery still need to be done! But at the rate I'm going, it looks good! And you only mentioned 1-6! You can't forget the 7 or S! :p

Cool! That's a big job and you have a very positive attitude about it. Keep up the amazing work! And by the way, the 7 is my favorite IRT line ;)

TS12 route upgrade announcement

@Susanaes: I hope you're not talking about me when referencing talk is cheap?

@NYCBoy: I will post some pictures when I get the opportunity. Right now it's bare bones, and most of the pics I have are of the (5) line that I started. I will take some shots of the Livonia El and that craziness that is Utica Av.

Btw, this small update doesn't warrant a full map picture, but:

(3) up to 148 St (no yard yet. I'm just figuring out which tracks to use). Everyone should look up and download author "Samplaire" -> he has wonderful tracks--wonderful isn't even the word for it. Just go check it out and see what I mean. They will be a mainstay on my routes from now on.

(2)(3) have joined the (1) at Broadway/96 St. My next portion of building for Sunday will be the (1) up to 242 St.

By the way, effective immediately, due to improved performance with handling the framerates and NO slow-down, lag or disappearing tunnels/stations/baseboards, this route has been fully converted and will be released for TS12 only. Right now the digital download is only $20, so it's a really small investment to make and the upgrade is WELL worth it.

HOWEVER, ALL OF THE CONTENT THAT HAS BEEN RELEASED AND IS UPCOMING FROM BSTYLES AND MYSELF WILL STILL BE FOR ALL VERSIONS OF TRAINZ. THE BUILD NUMBER WILL STAY AT 2.0.

For TS12 users, ignore the yellow warning exclamations in CM--this is just saying that anything below 2.7 is considered obsolete.

Carry on gents. @Susanaes and NYCBoy, you'll find some pics soon!

P.S. @R33WF: Are you doing the yards as well, or no?
