Nt Sure What This Means

The following appears in the Trainz Store. Transposing to the messages messed up the layout. However. There were two texts, as shown, each with the shown banner. Allegedly pushing Platinum but with the possible appearance of two different products.

Also, I can't find any reference in the Trainz Store to the Plus product. Has it been cancelled or was one of the TWO Platinum items meant for it?

There is only one TRS19 Platinum Edition (full product). The others are regional versions. Plus is not a product but a membership option like silver and gold, each allows differing amounts of access to DLC, new features or future early releases.

It is odd though. The link on top of the graphic goes to "platinum edition-1". The linkunder the graphic goes to "platinum edition". The full product link goes to "full product". So what do you pick out of three possible choices? Lousy design on someone's part, because it is very confusing to the potential purchaser.

Each has a bullet point on it and I interpret that that the three items stand on their own. ie; the graphic one shows a graphic and the link. The 3rd one goes to a more general page. (Yes, the first two do seem to duplicate each other. Perhaps they wanted a graphic link and text link for some reason. One never knows the reasons for these things.)

I think we expect too much on these mailings. Don't forget that we are in a pandemic. No doubt this mailing was put together by several different people. They are communicating via email and/or text msg. Things get lost and confused and then when it comes to the final mailing it is put together by someone who has to get it out "right away" and there is no time for questions, etc.

I'm painting a possible scenario, not what actually may have happened. But I can easily see this as the case. I do mailings for a ministry. The author/missionary is in SE Asia, I am in North Carolina, the the office workers are in Ontario Canada. Once they are out of the office on Fri. I cannot reach them until Monday (if I have a question.) So I just do the best I can with weekend mailings.

Expect errors in mailings. They are going to happen. In my case, I have to proof/check hundreds of links a week. Miss one and it's no doubt the most important one in the mailing and in the most important mailing of the week.

I don't expect N3V to be any better than I am. I am not perfect. Ha, not even close.
