Not All Speedtree Groups available in Surveyor

In the CM, I show several speedtree groups- groups numbered 01-10, but only the last three are visible in the surveyor module. I've disabled/re-enabled them in CM, I've searched by Name, Rating (I gave them all 5 stars) and kuid but cannot see groups 01-07, nor can I see the winter groups or the Gum groups.

I'm using the 2010 version- any advice on making these visible?

Thanks-

Update- I notice that the speedtree groups have a kuid that starts with 523, and a build version of 3.2. Upon further investigation, there are a whole pile of trees that start with kuid 523 and build version 3.2- almost all of which were pre-rated with 5 stars. My suspicion is that I don't very well understand speedtrees- but I'm guessing that all of the kuid 532* trees are speedtrees.

That does not solve my actual question, which was why certain groups are not visible in surveyor....

Speedtree

I had the problem...here is the fix.

Direct quote from Auran which works.

In regards to the SpeedTree groups. These are 'hidden' from the Surveyor content lists, as tree groups are less efficient than singular trees. This is because the singular trees will be able to make better use of the mesh-stitching. If you do wish to make use of speedtree groups, then you can open these for edit in Content Manager, and set the 'permit-listing' tag to '1'. However, we do not recommend using these in large amounts, since they can negatively effect performance.

Hope this helps.

Peter

Also note, the groups are not setup for seasonal variations. (You could however create your own groups if you wanted to.) The groups that are normally visible in Surveyor would actually be a bug. :)
