Thanks Davis, a little word of advice, please remove your email address. I just added it to my address book, so you can remove so you don't get spam. I will try my best to get the sign into Trainz, but CCP (not CMP) keeps locking up on me every time I try to export the mesh. Does anyone else have problems like this or is it just me?

I've gotton an idea why don't you use the invisible platforms and a spline over it to take care of the platforms(this was used in the previous version of the nec) you should also note that the cross over brigde in northwhite plains and bwi are similar.

If someone could nail this down for me I would put the scenery on hold and build track up to here (obviously including intermediate MARC stops).

I quoted the pictures because A: they are small, and B: Context.
Do you have TC1&2? As I remember there are a few stations similar to this made for the Harlem Line. I was able to use those stations in 2006 as well, but I don't have the numbers right now.

I might go back and do that because in the future if some cars with operating doors come along I want to be ready so Ill give that a shot. With all the work I have already put in I might as well do that to.

Yes I do have TC, I actually have all of them and TS2009 has all of TC's platforms pre-loaded into it. Ill fiddle around with them but I do have a few minor problems with them. A. Some are curvy and specifically designed for specific locales. B. Some are too short. C. They arent long enough

B and C I can work around just to get the bridge out of the whole deal. Luckily the platforms are too low not too high so I can lay new platforms over them and lengthen the stations and stuff and maybe even throw an invisible station into the mix.

I just tried to make a bwi Amtrak station similar to the picture and it came out fine but I dont know how to upload photo's do you know how

Sometimes you have to bend the rules to get what you need. Id rather get repermanded for that then spending time trying to describe what this route looks like.:p

Hello all,

I have had some issues importing the amtrak sign into Trainz. First CMP said "Could not load texture amtrak.png.........", which I immediately assumed that Trainz doesn't like png files, so I changed the texture to targa format. Now CMP is saying this:
Error: The texture 'c:\program files\auran\trs2006/local/content 1f0m3qa38\amtrak_logo.tga' is not a power of 2, please resize it.

How would I go about resizing the image to a power of 2? I think this has been asked in the past, but I can't seem to find that thread.

Any help will be appreciated. (BTW I am using GMax)

you'd do that in an image editor. I suggest irfranview.
most editors have a resize option.

while I'm on the subject of rezeing. wridenour would you mind resizing your signature so it is withing the Code of Conduct. the max size for the CoC is 800px by 100px.

Just to get proprotion wridenour my sig is 486 by 68 pixels and Peter's is 300 by 100 pixels. So you gotta bring that Conrail engine down to size. I have been meaning to say something but I kept forgetting:hehe: .

I am truly sorry for being annoying here Peter, but this is my first asset I have created for Trainz and I know nothing about resizing an image so it is a power of 2. Would that mean it has to be a certain pixel dimension or something? Again, sorry for being annoying here. This is my first time running into a problem like this.

Also, I did manage to download Irfanview, so if you need to give me directions you can refer to that program.

EDIT: Never mind Peter I found out the issue. Thanks for your help anyway. Now to deal with another problem of why the object isn't showing up in Trainz.
