Wow Trainz is really starting to suck ass. I made so much damn progress and then Voila! A little note from the game. Now I completely redo the upper level. Sounds like loads of fun doesnt it. Here we go:

Backup the Route

That really does suck. I'm not sure how often you back up your route, but I think tonight you should consider doing so. You never know when it could all of a sudden disappear, especially with how Trainz acts with Vista. I would hate to see another NEC project down the drain.

I know I mentioned backing up the route earlier, but this is just a friendly reminder. :) :p

I had the same error once. Mine happened when I was switching in and out of trainz to fast because I was using Google earth at the same time.

Same thing, except I was using Multimap. Ill do it again. The last time I backed it up was like a month ago so Im ovedue.

This the first time 09 has done this to me though.

Goto upload and find where you saved them, select the files, then upload them. Once they are there you can put em in a album. Click on them to enlarge, right click, goto properties, copy the url from www. to .jpg do not copy the numbers after the jpg. Then go to the forums hit the picture button paste the URL in and Voila. If you get stuck tell me where and I can break it down more specifically for you.

Hey guys,
I was at New Carrollton yesterday and I walked over to the Amtrak platforms and when I popped up I noticed that they had replaced that wooden gauntlet track with regular concrete track. It looked pretty sick, the gravel was all nice and clean and the ties were dazzling white. If anyone wants to see some pics I took just say so, otherwise Im not gonna waste my time with the upload process.

NEC

The History channel had a show the other night(Great Trains) and showed some clips of the NEC from Washington to Boston. You might be able to find some info at the History channels web site.
Good luck.

Kelly,
Ill have to check that out, maybe it will find its way onto youtube at some point.

PVincent,
Is it better up there or worse or just different?

Well the ones included in my route are the Blue/Yellow yards south of Alexandria, the Red Line yards in the Ivy City complex at Union station and the orange line yards at New Carrollton, so if you have pics of any that would be great, preferably the B/Y yard because thats the one Im least familiar with.

Thanks

Maybe, or maybe brentwood is the one in DC, Im more of a Amtrak freak than a Metro kinda guy. Dont get me wrong though, I have spent at least 100 bucks on metro farecars so far in 2009.
