Northeast Corridor Newport News, VA to Boston-South Station, MA (1024x 768 pixels)

I'll try to make BWI (Thurgood Marshall) as realisitc as possible because I fly out of their constantly! However, I need some people to lead me in the right direction for some good airport parts.

Ian(Vulcan) has some good passenger aircraft stuff going on(runways, aircraft like 747s A380s, and airport terminii, etc.). Just go to the "New Aircraft" thread!

So hows the route coming along?

Tinkered with it today on the old computer but I really want to get it on my new one. TS2010 will not "access the database" on the new comp so I am waiting for some helpdesk assistance before I can keep going full steam ahead again.

@suasnaes:

Whats going on is whenver I try saving something in game (just a baseboard with a circle of track on it as a test) or I try downloading something and commiting it it gives me this error that it cannot commit and it cant access the trainz asset database. Any insight would be great, I'm also waiting for a helpdesk response.

@n8phu:

I saw George's stuff and as always I am thoroughly impressed. I might have to mix in some of the stuff I am currently using because unless he makes a custom set of towers that you can stretch to any width I'll have to reserve his stuff for only 4 track stretches. But George if you are reading this it would be greatly appreciated if you make a spline of just the pole to be made any wiidth like you did with your New Haven catenary!

Thanks

Have you tried downloading and installing the following video drivers, which are for the ATI Radeon Xpress 1100? It worked for me.

Well he has a different graphics card then you. Made by an entirely different company, so installing those ones would be pointless.:p

Got the NEC into the new computer but still missing a lot of assets, so I'll let it download overnight and as long as the computer doesn't get screwy maybe progress shots next weekend!

First shot in Trainz. BTW if anyone knows how to fix the weird pattern on the tree problem (you can see in this shot) please post!

Very nice Strench. What kind of track are you using?

I think this may well turn out to be the best Trainz route.

Also, are you trying to model the NEC as being of a specific era? I'm assuming "modern" but if you consider the mid-90's "modern" you would have the option of placing quite a bit more industry. Go back a few more years and you'll still see regular daytime through freights!

The concrete track is UC60 Concrete 6m and the wooden track is high quality wooden track downloaded off of USLW.

I am modeling the NEC in current time, my track charts range from 2006 to 2008 and the few changes that have happened physically to the track between then and now I am aware of and have implemented. Like how the south lead of the Odenton MW base was cut OOS but now because of lots of area trackwork its back in, stuff like that.

We still get some 100 car CSX Coal Trains off the Popes Creek Sub on the NEC down here in Southern MD!

Thanks for the comments!

PS Working on BWI Station right now (MP 106.3!!!)
