North Coast Commuter Express(NCCE)

Hi Guys,

When the route is done, I have a place in mind for release but I have another three hours of work to do to the lower half (Which goes by like that when in trainz), then it will be done. The lower half. But next is the upper, which is about 75-100 miles long. So that will be while. Here are some screenshots:)

Please don't mind the untextured baseboard

Scenery or no scenery, this route is a blast to drive. But I prefer scenery;).

Hi guys,

Just a quick update. The NCCR is in alliance with the TCRX. Meaning they have control of the main. But that doesn't mean they own the route, I am still working on it for release but that does mean is they can use the route, and merge it to their mainline. And if your not sure what the TCRX is, check out Trainz Commuter Rail. Great site. But I have a very special place for release, that is all i'm saying.

I haven't for got the NCCR or NCCE. Some Progress shots, please don't mind that their not finished. I'm workin on it! (With a New York Accent) :hehe:
But for the most part I have been working on trackwork and also I have a job. So balancing it all out is kind of crazy but that doesn't mean trainz must go, just fit it around it.

Home of the future NCCR headquarters and eastern terminus. Unless I decide to add another 100 miles. I don't know, time will tell:).

Good Night people, also mind the updates come out at night or past 10pm at night. I am on at those times, mostly. But I want to be done with the full main and branches by time year end. Lets hope I make it. Again Good night, or if your reading this in the morning, have a great morning and day.

Guys another quick update. I can official say the eastward expansion is done, track wise of course. I have 33% of the scenery done, and now the mainline is 150miles long, if you follow speed boards takes a hour and twenty mins using the Acela(Top Speed for the Acela is 189mph[Northward extension]) two hours with the regional(Top Speed is 125mph) and commuter train and other (Top Speed is 110mph).
Also one thing about the Acela at 220mph, you can cover 25+ in two minutes. That's fast. I have drove the whole thing. It is awesome! But future NCCR project, I am also in contract with the I-Rail Transport, the project requires a 75 - 100 mile mainline construction, South of Union Station. I want that project done by time next year.

So here are a list of NCCR Capital Projects.
  • Finish the Extension North, 40% Complete. Cost 7 Billion Dollars
  • Line to Croton-Harmon, third rail territory. And where future Higher Speed Rail will lay, top speeds of 110. A 100 mile branch, also this line will connect with Union Station. Progress environmental Study, 50% Complete. Cost 5.0 Billion Dollars
  • Mainline extension South of Union station, I-Rail Project. Construction of a three to four track mainline to the town of Bayhead. With top speeds of 220mph. The NCCR is ecstatic to start a start relation with I-Rail, and with the construction of this mainline. Cost 100-150 Billion Dollars. Progress, Design Concept stage, 10% Complete. Seeking Funding:hehe:. It is going to cost alot. Reason is that a new set of tunnels need to constructed under Washington.
  • Rehabilitation of branch line to Norris-Green branch line. The line was closed before the formation of the NCCR, so bringing it back to the communities along the line, will help the local economy's of towns alone the line, giving citizens one seat travel to New York, Trenton, and Philadelphia. Cost 500 million dollars.
So alot of things are planned for NCCR and as I-Rail and TCRX move forward to bigger things for the railroad, creating a better experience for not only passengers but also the communities that are served by the railroad.

All I-Rail Projects are canceled.
