North Coast Commuter Express(NCCE)

If you'd like for me to make a map for your route, I'd be happy to. You'd just have to let me know what the specifics are. Can't wait to test this bad boy out.

Sure, and if you may do me a favor for me and replace some of the speedtrees to help frames.

amtrak2041864, I sent you a PM about missing dependencies, and I have to assume I am not alone in having this problem. In case you can't see the PM for whatever reason, here's the pastebin link I sent you (the list is too long to be put in the body of a message here D:). Others are free to add to this list if you can figure out how.

I have to upload some objects. (I modified some objects) I have you covered.

Like Scott said, I need to clear up this dependency problem before I can work on it. I don't understand how I would replace the trees, or what I would replace them with. I'm not very good at greenery.

That made the list of dependencies significantly smaller. That was a lot of trees.
I'm not sure if any important things such as track or signals are missing or not, but I'll start testing and mapping this week.

Most of that stuff can be downloaded, I just used alot of trees. I wanted diversity and at the same time destroyed frames in certain spots. I have to redo certain spots big time. But later today send me your missing dependencies list and I should have it to you as soon as possible.

Its been a while

After playing with the route a bit I discovered that my old style of route building sucked. So I an redoing the main north. Sorry about the long pause school started and I have to work. so time has disappeared from me. I hope people are still interested, I still have 100+ mainline to finish and two commuter branches. So here the redone Kingston Area. I know not much of a change from the screens but I started all over, ripped everything out but left the track and station. But this is just the start for things to come.

Awesome work there Amtrak2041864. Nice to see your work on the project again. Your method of route building did not suck. I think as long as any route is nice and detailed and looks good to the eye, then that is a good route.

Thanks Guys! I never really stopped the project, it was more like a slow down. Things just got in the way

I over the past couple of days have been working on the route fixing what ever needed work. There were a couple of sections that needed work so here is progress shot,

I remember when the route looked like this

That was 2 years ago

Great screenshots and lots of scenery, awesome :). You have made great progress with this route over the last two years. I still look back at some of the pictures when I started the Major Tri State Area Project 3-4 years ago.

Thanks, I love to run the old route. I love to contrast the new and updated from the past.

The Rebuilding of Astoria

I realize something, cities are the hardest thing to build. As it order to create a great city, it has to be active. You need to breath life into a city. So I took effort to rebuild my most northern city; Astoria. The most northern city serviced by the NCCR/TCR and the beginning of most rail journeys on the Main. Over the next couple of days/weeks I will be sharing progress shots. As Astoria is kind of big. I cut redevelopment/construction into phases and sections. Here is phase one, the final stretch into Astoria State Street Station. Servicing about 10 trains an hour, not the busies but a key part to the NCCR/TCR system. I am still not done with area yet but this is a great start for me. Thank You for your time.

Welcome to Downtown Astoria

I'm definitely liking the progress on your route Amtrak2041864: The pictures above remind me of the M8's travelling along the New Haven line.

I've been following this thread for awhile and you have come a long way in your route building. Much improved and a nice job. Now, may I make a suggestion? In many of your screen shots there are many fences and they are of the older type. I would recommend looking at either fences by dinorius_redundicus =kuid 68213 or yukonzoom=kuid 206307. Yukonzoom has some excellent gates that match his fences for tracks. I know, more things to change. At least take a look. Keep plugging away and I'll be keeping tabs on your route.
