New to Trainz

New to Trainz as a console player. I have been getting more and more dissatisfied with the direction and gameplay from my other train simulator type of game is heading so I decided to 'defect' over to Trainz.
I realise that the console version doesn't have all the features of the PC version...but the game gives me a simplified and enjoyable version of virtual train and railway gameplay. Does anyone know if further features/DLC will be added to the console version? Thank you.

I don't like complex sim games on consoles because consoles are limited compared to computers which can be upgraded to a point. I like to play amusement park sims, too and there is this Planet Coaster and a sequel that's a year old Planet Coaster 2 and the Xbox, etc. version has building limitations where you can only build so much then you can't build anymore in that park. The Windows version has unlimited building and more features like add your own images and music unlike the console versions.

I am not in the loop, but I would think as they add features to the desktop version, they will try to incorporate what they can into the Xbox version. It makes sense to sell new versions on Xbox as much as for PC. Since the Xbox version is pretty new, I would guess at least a year before any updates form a newer version.
