New route useing basemapz

I'm building a n-scale model railroad using Basemapz. Dose this program only work well with Trainz Model Railroad? The reason I'm asking is because when I try to raise the track in Trainz it pulls the track up like pulling bubble gum of a table. It just sticks to the board and stretches up.

Basemapz generates underlying images and objects automatically off your plan and in-game they work similar to the old basemaps objects which we used but in a manual method.

The image is in place and now it's up to you to generate the terrain manually no different than working any other version of Trainz.

I thank you misunderstood what I was talking about. I know you have to manipulate the ground with the tools, but I'm talking about the track splines. When I try to raise them up it just pulls the track up like I was saying in my post. IM using JR track and I thank I had a problem with it before. thanks.

Without a screenshot it's difficult to comment but this sounds similar to an issue with some of the (late) Andi06 Protrack. It has a very deep ballast shoulder/base which does seem to stretch to infinity on raising a spline point. No use on bridges or other areas where there is only a thin area under the track. Come to think of it I do recall some of the JR track doing that.

Best advice is to try a different track type/author which doesn't have that problem.
