New route name help please

Ok ive been thinking for the past couple of days about doing a route that's multiplayer compatible. Anyway haVe this idea of creating a route with the intialas NCC( im a trek fan). So far haven't had much luck in coming up with a good one. Overall theme is going to be early transition era with a focus mainly on passenger running and mainline freight. Major Scenery features would include mountains and a coast line with ports.

Anyone got name ideas?

How about North Carolina Central? Or New Cumberland Coastal? North Carlisle Commuter?

Or... N. CA Central. An Espee shortline up into the Sacremento Valley from LA set in the early 1900's or perhaps the 1920s.

Hmm, thanks for all those good ideas. I do like the New Caledonia Central idea, and when i saw that i knew ive heard Caledonia mentioned somewhere, and it just happens it was a country in the two Stargate SG-1 episodes Icon and Ethan.

I also like the N. CA Central, I might do something like that since i am an Espee fan.

I think i might end up doing something like Northern Coast Central.

Some town names I've been thinking of are

Major Citys
Enterprise, Springfield, Atlantis, Farnsworth (with Enterprise and Atlantis being port citys.

Other towns may include Fryville, Quahog, Apollo,Destiny , ONeillson, and Hammondsport (which is actually a town on the branch line at the model rr club i belong too, but in this case its referencing Stargate's George Hammond. played by the late Don S. Davis)

For scenery them i was thinking Northwest coast of the US ie Washington, oregon, Nothern CA.) Major scenety feature would be Cheyenne Mountain. (just borrowing the name from the real one)

Anyway the major terminals will be at Enterprise and Atlantis

Caledonia is in Scotland. new Caledonia, I think is in up-state New York. The second town on your RR club branchline is most likely Bath - i.e. the Bath and Hammondsport. This is another up-state New York branch line that ran from the Southern Tier west of Binghamton to a port on a lake. This was also a tourist road for awhile.

Ah i see, this information was helpful actually. Think im going to first start by doing a sketch of a possiable track plan or coming up with a list of towns and possiable industries and such
