New CP Route In Wisconsin WIP

This' is impossible. You can use s' to indicate something is plural if it ends in an s. For example,

add 's to the singular form of the word (even if it ends in -s):
the owner's car James's hat
WCL is correct except you have to use its. It's is a contraction = it is ;)

http://owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/grammar/g_apost.html should be of help.

You could also rephrase it and say "I can't wait for this map to be released!"

Sorry to be pedantic, I try to make a living as an English teacher. :D :hehe:

Gisa ^^

Whoops...Yeah...You're right....I just like hitting the ' key when I hear the S being used....:hehe:

Don't worry, it's a mistake I make often myself. :o :hehe: I had to check that site to be sure...even I must admit that English is extremely illogical, that there are too many rules and exceptions and that it's very confusing. But at least we grew up with it. There are easily over 500 million people trying to learn English as a second language...:|

When in doubt, google and the internet can be your friend. :D

We are only human, we make mistakes, but if we learn from them, no biggie.

Thank you for the info :)

Enough about the spelling:hehe:...Read my sig instead...:hehe:

..WCL, can we see more piccies! :udrool:

Yup....I'll go shoot some here in a few  Keep an eye out ;)

Here is a shot around Bensenville Yard...As we can see some CP power laying over in the servicing facility getting serviced for there next run

Also caught a tank train leaving this yard....With a surprise on this train.....Will get the pix up shortly here :)

Today we're set up in Duplainville.....On todays CP train 615 we were in for a nice surprise....It was an ex-UP SD40-2

We then chased it towards Winona

Passing thru the Dells

Rolling along the flats

Popping out of the Tunnel at Tunnel City

Passing the diamond of the BNSF here at Grand Crossing

Coming into Winona

Back in Winona MN we thought we would chase the MWIAD back towards Adams......We pulled up by the yard and when we got there we seen a UP just about to cross the road and go into the gravel pit

Pulling some loads out of the gravel pit....He will drag these cars back to the yard and tack these onto his train to head east

Making up his train now as we watch from a public road crossing...As you can see signs have kept us out from going into the yard (these signs were when the CNW was in town before the UP took over)

With its train together he departs town and heads east....At Fort Mcoy he sets out some cars for the Military Base

With its train back together he continues east across the tank trail

Popping out of the tunnel here at Tunnel City

Hoping off the CP tracks and onto the home rails of the UP here at Tunnel City

Till next time

Wow...I better get this route finished here....I just have hardly no time due to work and all to work on this route...I just have some areas to fix up and stuff to get rid of and then out to the testers....Will have some pix up hopefully tonight or 2morrow.....

Its been a while since I posted pix from this line....So today we set out for the Winona area...Today was not to bad of a day to RR fan...They had a 75% chance of rain and the clouds sure made it look like it.....You can soon feel the fall kick in as it is only 73* today....As one would say...Fall is just around the corner......We figure the first train we see is the one we will follow back towards Portage....On the outside of Winona we catch our train....This is train #612 that runs between Alberta and Chicago....

Here we catch him passing the UP yard

Coming into La Crosse now he passes over one of the draw bridges over the Mississippi River

Popping out of the Tunnel now here at Tunnel City...This is where the UP hops off the CP line and onto their home rails towards Adams where their trains run between Adams and Winona where they run their locals MWIAD and MADWI

One of the BEST places to take a family is set here in the heart of Wisconsin.....Wisconsin Dells...Worlds LARGEST waterpark.....Here #612 races over the Wisconsin River and passing the Dells Depot...This is where Amtrak Trains #7 and #8 make a stop.....This is a good train to take to come to this place to enjoy the fun in the sun

Last stop of the day was here at Portage....This here is another stop for Amtrak trains and yet a CP crew change point for all trains....Just WEST of here is a big power plant which gets a lot of attention by BNSF trains

Well that wraps up this run.......I hope to get more up here soon and yet soon to get this route out to ya'll to see what you guys can come up with for stories and such........Till next time.....

On this day you can for sure feel that fall is in the air....Dark sky, the trees starting to change color and yet this day it was only in the upper 60's......The train we saw today was train MWIAD....This train runs between Winona and Adams daily....Here he is sitting in the UP yard at Winona waiting for a crew to take it east to Adams

Thanks....Yeah its just about done....I have to wait for a few RR signs that are being made by Adam...(still have to get a hold of him...Another busy feller that is hard to get a hold of)...But once them are done and in, I'll go and touch it up and that should just about do er.......
