What I love is the storyboards it gives trainz that much more realism and fun-ness(if thats a word) :)

Yeah...I try to come up with some really good ones :)...It makes it more fun and more real I think.....I also try and make the time of day it is in real life into the game...But at times when its night time in real life...I wanna run something in the day....But I try and do it as the real time of day type of thing.....Thanks for the comments

Yup...The Amtrak Empire Builder Trains 7 and 8....Check it out here:

http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/Conte..._Page&c=am2Route&cid=1081256321887&ssid=10980

I will have to try and catch one of them on this line...For sure I wont be able to go from city to city to catch it cause of its speed...But I will wait for it in the Dells or something....If you look in the first few pages...You will see one of the Amtrak trains at the Dells already

Well today was a great day....Woke up from the motel in New Lisbon and headed over towards La Crosse.....On my way I was picking up a train that was leaving La Crosse and that was train 204 which is an empty auto train.....I then got off the interstate and headed towards Tunnel City to wait for this train....

In Tunnel City now we wait for train 204 to come out of the Tunnel...We figure we might as well follow this train over towards Milwaukee and once over there maybe do some RR fanning in the area

We then shot over back to New Lisbon to wait for it to show up....It wasted no time on getting here as it came screaming into town

We then headed for Wisconsin Dells to catch it on the fly over the Wisconsin River

And passing the Amtrak Depot

At Watertown now we see him coming over the UP ex-CNW diamond that sees a local daily

Now stomping over the diamond of the WC here at Duplainville

Coming into Milwaukee the dispatcher makes the train by-pass the yard and hit up cutoff switch and go thru past the Amtrak Depot

Making its way thru the out skirts of down town Milwaukee passing all the skyscrapers

We then thought of an idea on what we could do...We then catching him at one last place here at Rondout where the EJ&E crosses over the CP main before we race him to the yard

With the train in the yard...The power cuts off from the cars and comes up to the racks to get serviced and get ready to head out on another mission

With this said and done...We were thinking we might as well head over to the Amtrak depot and maybe take one of the Amtrak trains that run up to Milwaukee once and stay around up in that area for a day or so to catch some local UP and WSOR action.....Till next time

lo wcl your the only 1 i know who can make a story for the screenshots, without making them look bad, and having a good story 2.

You don't have to respond after every damn thing he says. This is a forum, not a instant messaging program.

good grief, looks good J,

Thanks....LOL....Only reason I respond back is just to keep the flow going....Other wise I'd get IM's up the butt...LOL....:hehe:

Fact about your CP train WCL. CP 204 actually becomes X740 when it runs on the CSX here to Detroit/ Windsor.

Sweet....Thanks

Well I didn't take a train ride today but I drove back up to Duplainville instead.......Lucky for me when I did go up there.....Here is why:

First when we got there we seen a CP switcher switching out an industry and some other RR fans there as well today...It was such a nice day to be out and about and yet...A very lucky day to top that all off

After a while we heard that the Empire Builder Amtrak #8 was on its way thru here....Off in the distance we heard the horn coming...After a few seconds....Into the picture he came

After #8 cleared another train came on by...This was CP train #393

After he left we thought it would be cool to go over to the WC side now and shoot some action....Maybe we would get lucky and catch the HJ train.....When we got over there...We looked to the left and what did we see.....Sure enuff

It was the HJ sitting in the siding ...That ment only one thing....He was going to meet a train

Moments later we were treated to a Green Bay bound coal train

Once the GB coal train cleared the main...Out came the HJ onto the main and pulled its long train south towards Waukesha

After they all left I went back by the CP local that was switching out the warehouse...When I got there he was just about ready to leave and head back towards Milwaukee

Well now that I am in this area...I think I will go back to Milwaukee for the night and maybe catch an Amtrak ride tomorrow or something....Till next time

Well I didn't have much time today to RR fan....But I did shoot this one of a really late night Amtrak Empire Builder #7....Caught him outside Wisconsin Dells racing across Americas Dairy Land on its way towards La Crosse

Well today is not a very nice day to go RR fanning....Rain all day and the good thing is though its not as hot....62*....Any ways heading thru Watertown we catch the WSOR local coming into town....I didnt stay long but just shot 2 pix

Coming into town

Pulling into the small WSOR yard to shift some cars around for the local industries and some to be set out for the CP
