Hi all
i just installed trainz 2010 again after loosing my content ,its running fine in regular mode with gud framerate(even Avery drexel with 25-30fps),but when i want use some chinese and russian content , i need to switch to compatability mode which again suffering from lag, so i decided to stay with regular mode rather than compatability mode, i just want some suggestion regarding routes which will run on only 2010 and is there any way i can make work those old content in 2010 without compatabilty mode on??

More then likely you will have to learn to repair the content itself so it will work in Native Mode, especially since much if not most of the Russian and Chinese stuff is outside the DLS. There's a thread in the TS2010 forum called "A Listing of Errors and How to Fix Them" by gisa, read through that and learn.

It's actually quite fun, but it can take a long time. If you go this route and have tested the assets to see that they work as they should, I also suggest leaving the Trainz-build # alone and contacting the author or the site admins and see about uploading your fixed version for the enjoyment of others.

This procedure worked for me. In CM find your Route and Session. Then open for edit, click revert to original and commit. This assumes that you are referring to a built-in Route and Session.

Good Luck.

If you select any route/session and open in Surveyor, then click the Main Menu to select Edit Session, you'll see the last rule in the default list is Quick Drive Rule. If it's not there you can add it to get it back. I don't know how/where the default list of rules comes from.

Hi Rweber,
i opened it , i have startup opt,driversetup, driver comm,cleanup,consistdatahndlr only
so quickdrive rule shuld b here right?

Yes. I just made a test route and deleted the Quick Drive Rule, then saved and exited. Opened the test route again and Edit Session shows the Quick Drive Rule is back in the list. You have something wrong since it seems to be automatically installed by default. You could always open Edit Session and click Add and add the rule to a route/session to see if it will stay.
