yes, I would replace it, but don't know how to do.... If i click 'replace assets' i get a window, and then? don't know....@stratus......: I've sent pby357 a beta version, that's why he can post pics from my route
Click "replace assets" to get the window. Pick the track you are using that you want to replace in surveyor and drag it from the list to the "replace asset" pane (the left one). You have to drag it from the list, not from the text entry box. Then pick what you want to replace it with from the list and drag to the "replace with" pane (the right one), and click the button on the bottom (I think it too says "replace assets") to make it happen.
thanks scott, that helps me a lot!but what is with all switches, bridges and signals, are they correct AFTER REPLACE or are they deleted/on wrong places? If not, I don't want to do this :s
So bridges, tunnels, multi-track splines, and track-containing objects cannot be replaced by this method. However, simply replacing the track conserves the positions of trackside objects and segment spline points on the replaced sections.
