Thanks Bob. Your desert texturing is coming along very nicely.

Here’s one from me for tonight - with a bit of European snow.

A totally unconcerned squirrel ignores the Brighton Belle as it bursts out of the northern portal of Clayton Tunnel on the London to Brighton line sometime in the late 1950s.

Thanks both for your kind comments.

Thanks as always to the innovators of the original software and all of the great creators of assets who have enabled this open ended creativity to move so far forward. Ever grateful for their contribution to this fine, if addictive, hobby!

Here’s another view towards the peaks.

Cheers

Hi Casper,

you and Vendel both reached the maximum of this program's possibilities. You do not need to present rails and trains any more :)

I really enjoy your works...

Hi Sura.

Thanks for your kind comments.

~snip~ you and Vendel both reached the maximum of this program's possibilities. You do not need to present rails and trains any more :) ~snip~

I really do hope that there will be at least a little more that can be squeezed out of the program’s possibilities. I shall keep trying to find new ideas and won’t be retiring from it just yet.

Having left a long working life behind me there is now plenty of free time for me to experiment further (with and without trains as part of the scenery).;)

It is possible to find new methods of using the software nearly every day. Today I’ve been experimenting with fast flowing animated water objects laid over the top of Trainz water tiles with various coloured textures under the water. The trials so far are quite effective. It’s just the surrounding scenery that needs some attention now so that I can finish off a believable mountain river/torrent.

Cheers

Thanks for the background Jamie. :hehe:

Over here we see foreign buses full of tourists every day, both in the UK and mainland Europe. However, I hadn’t realised that this bus line was Australian when I placed it.:o I guess the ferry charge from Oz to Italy would be a bit steep wouldn't it!

I’m now getting worried that the vegetation may well be wrong for Europe and the altitude.:D

Cue the botanists!
