Yeah, sounds about right, wasn't TS2010 available to purchase about 2 weeks before it shipped?
There again, if the 'download' version is available to buy mid-April, that would generally imply that it'd be available to download immediately (unless they pull a JT-like 'buy now, get later' thing).
Many games that are for download usually can be bought pre-order. But the links to actual download the game are not available until the actual release day.(Usual at Midnight of the release day) The advatange of downloading the game instead of a hard copy is you can download it right when its released while those who get a boxed version have to wait weeks or days after release to get it in the mail. Although I believe that when I pre-ordered my Cities XL game that I received the boxed copy on the day of release so they mailed before the actual release day. But this is not typical.
