I love the Trainz software and I have been working diligently on a huge route that I would like to run in both TS 2010 and TS 12.
I recently purchased both the Blue Comet and Duchess engines, and was wondering if their license grants me the ability to install them on both versions of Trainz. I have searched the forum, and read the user agreement thoroughly, and that issue is not addressed so far.
Both versions of Trainz are on one computer, so that is not a factor. If my logic is correct, the purpose of the single computer clause in the license is to prevent more than one user from using the engines at the same time. With both Trainz versions on one computer, it would take quite a lot of ingenuity to make that happen, and I am saving my ingenuity for building my route.
I try my best to keep all that happens on my computer in compliance with all copyright rules. I love supporting Trainz, and would not resent your saying I would need separate copies of the two engines to install them both on my two Trainz versions.
My finances of the moment simply do not allow further Trainz investment at this time, so I thought it would not hurt to ask if installing add-on content on both versions was allowable. If not, then I will simply wait until I can afford a second purchase of those two beautiful engines.
