Most powerfull loco on trainz

My vote would be for the Union Pacific Model DD40X. With the motive power of a 4-8-8-4 steamer, the Centenniel combined 2x16 cylinder Prime Movers on a single chassis. 6600 HP 645E3x2 16 cylinder 2-stroke. Max speed 90 MPH.

This loco from Austria shouldn't be forgotten. The Class 1044 locomotive is rated at 6900 horsepower or 5150 kW. I've heard it rumored that it could get 8000 Hp, but I can't verify that...

Thats for more info on this loco, we could use some of these over here in America, if we were to have electric freights again....

I've heard that the Austrian made Re 465 has just under 9500 horsepower (7000 kW)!

Here's a quote from it's specifications:
"Are their capable to support a towed load by 650 t under the ramps by 27% and accelerate in mean time until 100 km/h (63 mph)."
Now that is pretty darn good if you ask me!

The Power of Diesel

I guess you guys are looking to haul a couple miles of freight, huh?:p

This is quite a valid question I find, given that I also do a lot of freight operations. Most of the time I couple several American locos together (especially Dash-9's, I love em'), but in the case where I absolutely need to have one loco, I use one of these monsters.

A former (now owned by CoonRail Logistics) RZD 3TE10M clags over a lake with a rake of container wagons.

How much power it has I don't know exactly, what I do know is that it is incredibly powerful and can be used for pretty much any heavy logistical need.

Could you please tell me where you downloaded that RZD 3TE10M locomotive from. I did a "google" but found no good links.

Thank You
