Placed a loco on the track and cannot delete it.

2:565249:100827 and :101126 The locos and the tenders appear in my list on 22PE. However, I can place the tender and see it. I can also delete the tender. But, when I place the loco, it isn't visible. I can see the red and green direction arrows above it, but no loco is visible. The worst part of this is that I cannot delete the invisible loco! It still takes its spot on the track! I can place another, different loco in front of it and connect it, but it still remains invisible. How do I get rid of my invisible loco?

Am I correct in assuming that that is actually <kuid2:565249:100827:14> A1 60163 Tornado Apple Green and is part of the Tornado A1 Steam Locomotive DLC package currently available to Gold Plus members only?

<kuid2:565249:100827:14> A1 60163 Tornado Apple Green is working fine in my Trainz Plus. No problems at all.

Possible caching problem? Did you add the item immediately after the DLC pack was downloaded and installed? In which case TRS22PE may not have had time to correctly cache it and its dependencies.

That is correct as to the ID of the loco. Ghost......not sure what you are asking. I did put a loco in front of it and also tried in back of it. I can delete those, but not the invisible one. Pware: I didn't just d-l it....it has been there for awhile.

Sometimes running Delete Missing Assets fixes that issue.
Yeah...that got rid of it. What I cannot understand is this: when I go to d-l the loco, it is a pay d-l and says that it was part of a "Gold" package? Not sure what that means. However, WHY would it give me the tender but not the loco? That is just stupid.

I can't explain the whys with the downloads. What happened is sometimes the asset location tables that keep track of assets somehow left the entry behind. By running the D-L-M utility, it reset and cleared the table and removed that loco reference. This bug has been with us since at least T: ANE and it's one of those things that's difficult to catch if not impossible to do so.

I had an interesting bug where my trains set themselves up in a star-like pattern with the ends radiating out of a center spot. They not only did this but also many did this in the middle of the ocean area. I was able to grab the freight cars and passenger cars and place them back in their respective locations without too much of a problem. When I reported this, complete with some referencing images, the Devs were baffled. We worked for quite some time in an attempt to replicate the problem but were unable to do so.

Yeah.....in just the few years that I have been using Trainz....started with 17 when it came out, I have seen my share. However, my favorite one in 19 when you would sometimes get the MASSIVE pine tree just appear.

Or, the weird glitch where locos get stuck in one corner of a baseboard?
I used to have that happen to me alot in TANE, but haven't seen it in TRS19.

I remember that one too in T: ANE.

Do you remember the smokenados even with Physix off and floating trees in space?

I had the floating trees when loading routes or during copy-paste. That was really annoying because that wasn't noticeable until after a huge area was pasted. This required clicking on the ground to plant the trees. I got pretty adept at that move and could repair large areas in a few minutes. This also occurred during route merging. This again was one of those things that was never solved but disappeared later on.

@JCitron >>> No, I don't remember smokenados, but... now that I know they exist, I DO want to see them, LOL.
Floating trees and scenery in general I DO remember !
