can't use trainz

green corona , diesel fuel ,loco coupler front plow and ditch lights.
trainz is useless without these assets,yet i seem to not having them regularly.
WHY?????
I ran a session last night, and this morning i have no locomotives. this is happening a lot ang is most annoying
the loco front plow (kuid2(45324:85306:4) according to the forum can be obtained thru downloading certain routes.

Unfortunately, a lot of routes require assets from packages and payware. To avoid this, try to only download routes that advertise being DLS only, or that at least post links to needed assets. Otherwise yes, it becomes a constant search for assets.

it is indeed a daily struggle to use the game. it has become a fix scenario. and a whole lots less enjoyable.

Are any of those items 'open for edit' or are they actually missing?

Marked as modified will do that too. If you find them, right-click on them and revert them to original. This sometimes this happens.

three of them are built in and faulty diesel fuel, engine sand and of course green corona kuid 25:590.
the loco coupler front plow is jr. kuid2:4324:85306:4. there is another loco front plow in his dependencies but it is the second model and will not work.this is the one i have been told to get from certain routes.
sometimes you can revert and get them back some times that will not work.
this is a major pain and i have seen others complain.

I can't help with TRS2019 stuff as I no longer have it installed.
Just a hint, when quoting kuids, copy with ctrl+c directly from content manager and paste with ctrl+v. This will help avoiding misquoting kuids

All of the above items come installed with the game. We have tried having him revert the assets. EJB has yet to follow instructions and more often than not does not follow through on the proposed remedy and just says thanks anyway and quits trying until the next request. I do not know what more can be done.

reverting doesn't always work. of course i have tried to revert. yes sometimes it works while other times it doesn't. presently all engines are doing alright except i still don't have spirit of law . content manager doesn't show anything wrong.

It is possible that some of your packaged assets have been updated.

In Content Manager you can set up a filter to check for assets that have updates available.

Where it shows Install, click on the small arrow to the left.
Click on the plus-sign (+) on the right to add a new line.
Click on whatever was added and change that to Packaged and set that to True if it's not.
Click on the plus-sign again and add in Out of date.

Anything that has updates available that are packaged can be downloaded.

Since these are packaged, you can't just download them and need to right-click and choose Show asset versions.

This will open a new window showing what's available to download and download the updated packaged assets.
