Am thinking of getting Trainz for my new computer….

Greetings, am thinking of getting Trainz for my new computer, which is a windows 11 OS, and was wondering which version you all would suggest. Also, anybody got a steam loco with six wheels on the pilot, four drivers, nothing on the rear truck, and a tender? Yes, I worded that right. Rockatoa, Brickticks out!

Depends on your hardware but basically I'd go for TS19 or TS22 PE. There are other options available.

Well, it’s an Alienware, with 4090 Nvidia gpu. So, I guess I’ll see what does the best for me. Rockatoa, Brickticks out!

TS22 PE or the subscription. TS19 and TS22 have a number of assets with .PBR textures which will work well with your 4090.

The 4090 will work well. My new Alienware laptop has one of those and Trainz has no problem with running at all. The machine does run hot though, and I can feel the heat exuding from the vents with the fans blasting on full.
