Monorail, Maglev, and other alternate screenshots

Hey Ish!

I've been creating(in 2010), the SMT Maglev line between Longyang Rd. and Shanghai-Pudong Int'l Airport, and I do know that the maglev terminus in Trainz DOES bear resemblence to the one in shanghai, but I was wondering, if it's possible that you could create a more identical model of the station canopy? I don't need anything else other than the station canopy, and I'd prefer it to be in the form of a spline.

I think It is about time that monorails become a serious mode of trasportation. For too long they have been nothing but a ride:

working on new skemes that would be typical metro styles any suggestions, so far I have a plain white skeme

I just did a pit stop at your site -- love what you have done ... "The Disneyland" route ... Me, being from Florida, I can really appreciated that, LOL Great work there!!


Anyhow, if you like some suggestions, then how about a nice gray textured monorail car with some strips of some-kind, which can then easily be used with my "monorail System version A" system ...


@ALL - Disregard the previous screen shot -- I have redone the monorail "version A" -- the beans are very thick, however, the system should be use at a height of 25m .... of course, you can use at any height but, you will not get the full benefit of displaying the V-SHAPE beans, since the beams are, of my head, 50-meters into the ground, etc

BTW -- I'm done with my traction Route, so now focusing in the Monorail route -- will start after Christmas making the layout, etc ... when done, then I'll release both layouts, etc!!

Are you intending to keep that white monorail as is? I need an 'undec' monorail, I've got a great PSTA(Pinellas County's Transit system) paint scheme idea. They've been toying around with a monorail for the past 25 years connecting DT Clearwater to South Beach(Clearwater, not Miami!).

I am more than happy to attempt any paint skemes you can come up with, just post a rough sketch of what you want and I can do my best. However am still waiting on JFE's permision to release anything at the moment.

*note* Skinning the monorails can take anything from 20 mins. to a day to do,

Just use some Duck tape:hehe::hehe:
I ride on my hometown city bus line some times they will use stickers on their buses for ads and on the top part of ours buses are numbers like 249

FYI they are called Rochester City Lines

Its complicated, the scheme isn't even in my head yet, let alone on paper. I thought I'd do the reskin myself(after the undec version would be leased).

1st: Where are the pics you want to post from?
If they are from your computer, you will need to upload them onto a host website like photobucket (free accounts).
