Monorail, Maglev, and other alternate screenshots

This shot is courtesy of Wikipedia. The new Disneyland monorail is shown over the Finding Nemo ride. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in attempting to make this new version of the monorail. I think this would be a lot of fun to use in Trainz.

The track system above is the Schwebebahn system in Germany. Search Schwebebahn in DLS. And on the subject of monorails, I can't get any of the Disneyland one's I've downloaded to work, due to them being 'obsoleted by a later version'. Where is this later version?:o

Is the Schwebebahn available for TRS06? i saw the monorail program on travel channel & they had an in depth review of that system.

I've had trouble with the default monorail package in 06,first getting it to install through CMP & then running it in DCC mode...whenever I leave a station the throttle kinda jams up till it clears another stretch of track just a few metres/yards out of the station before resuming normal operation,is there some sort of magnetic brake or something built into the track sections just outside of the stations that could be causing this?

Mikeinva,

In DCC mode, that happens all the time with the monorails. I personally use Cab mode and just assign the drivers their routes.

Hey NIARTcar, how did you get the monorail beam with that 90 degree support beam? I would love to be able to use that.

here, I found it,
sooner or later I am going to have to start making a page of all my little goodie finds(alot of which I use on my routes)

It is a model of the Sky Train at Dusseldorf Airport.
It comes with the train, stations, track and supports.

I'd laugh if I saw this on Trainz. :p

Wow, I'm glad to see such interest and so much work done around the monorails. They were fun to build and fun to play with, but it's really great to see other people having fun with them too.

Keep up the good work.

I enjoy playing around with it. It's fun trying different ideas with it. As I've mentioned in other posts, I think it would be interesting to see different versions of the monorail created. Don't get me wrong, I love what we have here to work with but could you imagine what could be done if we had different variants of the monorail trains?
