It's my opinion that mods that are also on the Pioneer Council should give up one of their positions. I believe this sends a bad message to the average Trainz user that some folks are a little too privileged around here. Your thoughts?

OK, we get it. You have a problem with a forum moderator(s). From an independent viewpoint I honestly think if you stopped complaining on here things might be a bit better for you.

Or not, it's still a laugh to read sometimes.

Either way I'll still get ignored by this company.
Putting all my other problems aside, I do feel that this is a mistake and it's something that should of been given some thought before it was done.

Don't see your point. Mods are volunteers as far as I know and I am not sure what privilege it gives you? And Pioneer Council members pay a lot of money for that "privilege". Why shouldn't they be both?

DUDE FOR HOLY CRAPPEN SAKES!!! Just leave! I do not care if I get infractions for saying this, but nobody gives a hoot in hell about this problem. If you dont like the forums, if you dont like the mods, or company, well fine, thats your problem, just leave and find a better forums and train game. I think in your case, you deserve to be ignored by the company. Grow up and act your age! I have seriously seen my 13 year old brother behave more maturely than you. So maybe instead of saying the mod should back down, maybe you should practice what you preach. Im beginning to think your doing this all for attention like little girls do. And I dont think anyone cares your posts are getting deleted, in fact I think people are happy to see them closed and would be happy to see you leave.

Here you go moderators...do your thing!

Yes moderators do your thing!
I do not care if I get infractions for saying this
In fact I wont even rant because I deserve it, here I am admitting to my mistakes!
Also to add on top of that I will even say if you do give me an infraction, your doing your job. :) Unlike some clown we all know who thinks its the mods fault.

As I've seen lately, this kind of power start to go to their heads. You might not see it but it's happening.

You asked for our/my thoughts; okay, here we go

It's my opinion that mods that are also on the Pioneer Council should give up one of their positions. I believe this sends a bad message to the average Trainz user that some folks are a little too privileged around here.
I think this says a lot about your fear or distrust in the moderators.

Your thoughts?
The council members have done a financial donation in the future of the game and help and discuss the product development; the game if you will.
The mods have the unpaid and undervalued job of trying to manage the behaviour of some out of line activities on the forum; some of your actions if you will.

Since these are two totally different things, I do not have any problems with people being part of both groups.

Note:
I am not a moderator, not a member of any council or group, not a member of JR or any other content producing get-together.

It's my opinion

Yes, we've all got one of those, most of mine have resulted in bans or "infraction points", you can shout as loud as you like ............
...... won't make a blind bit of difference, my opinion of this forum, is that there are two main categories, 'Fan boys', who will
back N3v to the hilt whether they are wrong or right, or people who are right, but making the changes doesn't fit the business profile
of N3v.
In other words, ... "CONFORM, OR SHUT THE f**k up", the only other choice you have is, instal the game, run it, but ...............

.............. don't ever make a complaint about something you should be "grateful" to be able to use. (according to N3v)

Well, WE are still waiting for you to apologize to the company and mods and community, so I dont think an apology is due just yet.

As I've seen lately, this kind of power start to go to their heads. You might not see it but it's happening.

Tinfoil hat much???

The moderators job here is to apply the rules set out in the COC and nothing else. If you broke the rules you really need to just nut-up and move on. Remember this is a pleasant forum for 99% of members.

MODERATOR COMMENT:

LWVRR

Your wish is granted.

I have escalated this to senior N3V administration.

The rest of you butt out

Thread closed.

For the record

Forum Moderation

I was asked to assist with forum moderation. A case of all volunteers one pace forward march. I didn't ask to be a moderator nor do I enjoy the thankless task.
My guidelines are the same as every other user of these forums including N3V staff. Abide by the COC or suffer the consequences.

Pioneer Council

I scraped more than I could really afford out of my pension to ensure that TANE and Trainz had a promising future. Anyone of the 660,000+ trainzers and others could have done the same. Some did.
