Found em thanks guys.

Scrapped my other layout. Going to try a layout with an Outer loop and a raised center.

Have fun! Looks nice so far!

I've moved my NCNO out of here so I wouldn't clog it up with my screenshots. From now on most updates will be posted in the NCNO's seperate thread, but I'll still be around here, checking out the awesome layouts coming through here.

Anyone know where I can find say a brickwall or something for a backdrop?
Search for "huge" on the DLS.

You will also find some pictures to put on the wall.

Edit:
... and I apparently managed to not scroll down and see your question was already answered and you found them. Sorry; my only excuse is that it is early here.

Any chance of convincing JR's to let you release those on their website? If not ill simply continue to druel over your images.

Felix, I got to say you are god at this man! You should make tutorials on how you do what you do, I am sure they'd be a BIG hit!
-Taylor

Sorry Taylor but no... for various reasons. Not only that I'm not good at writing tutorials and that I don't like writing them. Also I think the key to a really good skin is not as much the painting technique but much more how you are able to look at the real thing... you have to develop an eye for colors and saturation, light and shadows, etc. Some people's ability for that may be better than other's, but basically I would say that's a matter of practice...

I was talking about your route building skills. I know the shots you posted are from your last release but the routes I've seen you produce are really impressive.

Oh... regarding route building I really don't know what to tell you. I would say I'm messing around with something until it looks right to me. Nothing really helpful to teach other people...

What if you just download one of felix's roughts and just study what he has done and try to get a feel of what he
is trying to do and go from there
my advise is to lay track first and then go from there
ask yourself this " If I was going to put the route on the DLS would I be happy with the route?"
Just my 2cents worth
