Model Railroadz

It seems to me these are layouts, not routes.

And most of them look much better than 90% of the "routes" being made currently. Possibly due to attention to detail is compressed in a smaller area? Or maybe that the whole route designing takes time and the crap routes are usually made by impatient route builders who rush their work

Don't forget the supports are track objects so you need to lay a small section of invisible track at each location you need one at the base height of the layout, in order to attach them.

Incoming soon

Coming to the Trainz Download Station soon, a small switching yard based on the Model Railroader "102 Realistic Track Plans", plan #5, "Federal Street":

Same problem won't open for read tried new download 3 times. The ones I DLed from DLS worked perfectly. The supports & brick wall.
Oh! well I"m sure it will get sorted out. Maybe upload to DLS.

Ok I can't get them to install in TRZ 12+H4 but I did get it to install in TRZ10 Ill re CDP and try port to trz12.

A few minutes later yep that worked..If anyone has same DL to desk top then TRZ 10 bla bla.
If some one has a better way OK... this works for me.

An exception. My Benchwork Supports aren't track objects. They are scenery assets.

Great Thread, nice Idea

I have build my USA Version for my private Fun :).

These are all very nice layouts but could it be possible that a base board(s) could be made like the ones we work with now but in different sizes that one would use in the real model railroad world without having to dig out a base board., Just a thought.

Hideous right? Lol this is my first try at this, thought it came out ok. More to come once my track work is done and I pass it off to conrailfan1999 for scenery work.

Still needs a roof...not really sure how to pull that off.

It's a good solid start :)
Should make for a good long circuit to get around. I've been mucking around with a switching route for the last couple of days and I'm planning a big tail chaser afterwards.

Close to upload

I'm just in the final stages of packaging this all up (maps, description, ... ) before uploading to the Download Station and making a post in the Freeware forum. It's called "Federal Street Switching Yard"

As always, best watched full screen and in HD:
