I've been curios about the shadows - couldn't one create an asset - say a floor object or similar, and then place that object slightly below the surface of the scenery? My thought is that it would receive the shadows from trains and other objects and block those shadows from reaching the "floor".

Hm, seems like a pretty good idea. I'd have to do some tests first.

Also, someone used a shadow under the benchwork, which would also work.

My first Model Railroadz. Just got it started. Not much scenery done yet, but the mainline track is laid.

This is all really good stuff, I'm impressed, looks like a whole new world of Trainz has just opened up.

I nominate Keno for 2014 Trainzer of the year for this idea.

As N3V are chucking new avatars around Keno deserves a special one of his for this, well done.


I think I might have to change my long routes into a massively long building with lots of rooms, like about 500 rooms to get from one end to the other :hehe:
