Model Railroadz

Wow this thread has really taken off, there are lots of great routes being made! I have watched the video on how to make a model railroad multiple times and I just can't get it right. So I was curious if there is any model railroad routes or bases for route available. I would love to make one myself off another route where the "benchwork" has already been setup.

In the process of building a layout now trying a simple 4'x8' which equates to about 1.2m x2.4m. Just a quick question if I chose real scale measurements it turns out real small, but if i switch to HO measurements it looks more dimensionally appropriate. Is there something I'm missing?

Where did you obtain the backdrop spline?

The 327649 is somewhere in the Czech Trainz universe authored by Hekl338.

I was thinking about a small layout to run Ben Neal's latest masterpiece and came across this layout on the Web:

I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon and today working on it. The track is all done and the structures in place. Textures still to go. And the finishing touches.

A few more hours and it will be done. It's surprising how quickly this kind of route can be put together.

So, conrail, soon.

As with all my routes, all dependencies are either built-in to TS12 or from the Download Station.

It seems to me these are layouts, not routes.

So? I think this is an absolutely wonderful new twist on Trainz.

I have tried for so long to replicate Model Railroader layouts in Trainz, and once I get my computer back up and running, I think it could finally become a reality.

There's some great work posted in this thread. :)

With the exception of those destined to become multi-deck, why are the layouts set so low at 40"? I would think most would want a single level somewhere in the 48" to 52" range.
