Model Railroadz

It really helped. Thank you.
Here is my screenshot for the day. Also, if you're wondering the CITX C40-8 is a new Freeware JR Club Car item

Second layer is a test just to experiment around with the possibilities. It's a series of "fma" retaining walls lined to make a second level, with fascia covering it. It works, but there's no other textures possible, and I'm not looking forward to adding scenery/adjusting heights.

First proper running test :) 3 trains on manual control was good fun.

Wow amazing work there Eso i love how you didn't get any paper mache stuck to the brick work when you made those hills LOL. Very nice work mate i hope this layout makes it to release one day.
Cheers Mick.:)

Looks fantastic, Epo! just need to figure out some ceiling lights now! :hehe:
Might wanna slap on a sky backdrop too :D

Cheers
Stevo

Oknotsen, Thanks for your work in creating those assets. Kimo, thank you for bringing some excitement back into this sim. Guys your shots mind blowing to say the least.
Here's my first basic attempt. I wanted to give it a try. Now I'm hooked. I did this on the idea of a module. Nothing fancy, just wanted to see if I would crash and burn.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

The ceilings are exactly the same as the floor but set +200 off the board height from memory. If you run them perpendicular to the flooring then it's quite easy to adjust the heights.
I'd love to release it sometime, I'm still deciding about using the DLS, another 3rd party or maybe even learning how to html myself and finally doing my own hosting page. I'd quite like my own little dedicated space to host my content sometime but between 45hour+ work weeks, 3 kids and studying for two diplomas life is kind of hectic atm .

I might just do a few tweeks (signals, junction names, speed restrictions and track markers) and flick up a mediafire link.

Just when I finally find a train simulator, one that I can build a 200 mile long Enola to Johnstown route on ... some one puts up walls, and puts my train layout back in my basement again ... The Horseshoe Curve will absolutely not fit in my basement ... I tried ... its like a 45lb Kat, in a shoebox !

cascaderailroad sounds like you have a big problem, but it has a simple fix. Dig a tunnel to your neighbor's basement then Boom! Problem solved. :)

Also thanks to amrail2000 website... I'm now having to expand my layout since I have just about Down Loaded everything... LoL

Umm thanks... but that scene is nothing new. Just wanted to show off the wall decoration LOL.
(Which is a reskin of oknotsen's work. Just for those who don't know... ;););))

Thanks for posting that screenshot; I really like those reskins you did there and always happy to see others use the stuff I share :).

Those can be expected sooner or later on the DLS - there are some more which aren't digitalized yet.
Taken by my grandfather back in late 1925 by the way.

Hi all,

Where can I acquire the assets required to make "layouts" such as these? I think that this is a step in the right direction for trainz!
