MicroDem vs TransDem

Can someone provide a brief summary of what advantages TransDem has over MicroDem and HOG. I have just learned how to use MicroDem and HOG to generate ground files to use in Trainz. The process is not difficult but I see a lot of posts on TransDem. Since it is payware I would like to know what advantages or features it offers over MicroDem and HOG.

In short...

TransDem is the same as MicroDem plus extra utilities to translate the results directly into Trainz without all the extra steps you would normally need to aply the DEM results to Trainz. If you can swing it, its probably the way to go.
