Mick 1960 passed away

Aw man... I am going to miss that guy.

Healthy arguments on trainz.de and here, with him - very similar interests re: German period structures.
We even used alot of the same texture sets in our models !

He could piss me off while congratulating a build, and make snarky comments all at the same time.

Yeah, he could be a difficult personality, but also quite supportive and helpful. I will miss our interactions greatly.

Pic of Mick and his wife Rini, from the trainz.de forum.

Very sad to hear, Mick made very nice content with realistic details
RIP Mick. Condolences to his loved ones.

Another death? That's terrible news. Condolences to his family and those who knew him. So sad.

I always wondered if 1960 was his birth date.

We lost so many Trainzers. Ben Dorsey, elvenor, Jango, and others. Ben made a lot of bridges and trains which are useful.

Shocked to hear this, his last upload was only on 20th December. Let's remember him for his stupendous model buildings. Not sure why, but a few years ago, Mick had a passing interest in Britain's Great Western Railway and, amongst other things, he gave us this fabulous signal box (which is now on my Ashburton route.) So the models will live on, but in the meantime my thoughts and condolences to his family.

Because he mentioned one day that he'd do more UK content if he had access to drawings - so I sent him quite a lot, a few of which he picked and made a beautiful job of. He just loved good architecture!

How sad. I had taken a break from TrainZ for a few months due to my schedule, and it's sad to come back and read this. Another great contributor has left us. May he rest in peace, and strength to his family.
