Hi, Im looking for this kind of fencing to put on my route. Its typical security fencing around UK routes. I've spent so long on DLS searching I've got RSI on my wrist haha. Surely someone must have created this type?

EDIT: Bloody typical. I spend all day looking then 5 minutes after posting I discover it already built in under a weird name. Sorry waste of a thread. Doh!

Your not done yet.
Check CZ, RU, HU, PL,UK, trainz sites most have fence splines
I have well over 200 different fence and wall splines.
I set up a blank base board and place all fence and fence splines.
Same with vehicles, bridges, ect. helps to sort out what I want to keep.

Thanks guys I think it was the DS Fence I found already installed. Having to lay out loads of fences, trees and objects kind of proves the search system in Trainz needs greatly overhauling don't you think? Im relatively new to Trainz. Yes you can create a favourites list but on the Mac version the bookmarks don't work so the list just gets longer and longer and eventually gets just as hard to search your favourites.

Slight change of topic but I spent a day and half laying out a station and yard which I then attempted to electrify with catenary splines. I spent hours and hours putting the splines in place and then noticed they started doing crazy things like linking to splines not associated with overhead cables, some ran off into infinite distance, others changed direction and linked across tracks instead of flowing the tracks. Is this some crazy spline bug I'm only just discovering as Im learning Trainz? It took me an hour to remove all the catenary cabling so I can have another crack at it again once my wrist stops hurting. If not I'll just stick to Diesel.

Try layers
IE
main layer for scenery, textures, buildings, fences,
layer 1 for track
layer 2 for catenary
Ill admit I haven't used layers yet but I think that's what there for.

Im reluctant as the last time I tried it completely spannered my route :s I might make a back up of a backup of a backup.

Try a small test route
Main base you can leave blank
Your basic oval track level 1
then cat level 2
Read up on locking, merging,
from what I read the trouble is forgetting what level your on.

I know how to use layers etc as I'm a graphic designer so use them in almost every application I use. :)

Trainz just doesn't know how to handle them properly in my opinion.

A bit like the splines I mentioned above. I found if I noticed a spline had gone weird and tried to delete it then it would delete but the weirdness then jumps to another spline so you end up deleting everything trying to fix it. When you've got hundreds, if not thousands of caternary connection points with hairline 'wires' it gets to the point of wanting to start killing people. Its just easier to erase everything and start again. This time I won't link the splines I'll simply hold shift down and place each one independently to see if that fixes the issue. If not then its diesel locos only for me.
