still no go
thats the sort of thing i'm looking for
being able to only use the black dls i cannot get all the items there
i'm not the only one that has this problem though

Perhaps it's time to just quietly 'slope off'!
Good point regarding the flat ground though. Each one of Deane's can be tilted for correct placing on irregular terrain.
A grouped single asset herd in my landscapes (none of which are flat) would be partly airborne and partly knee deep in the topsoil.

hey mates
here's a real brainteaser for you guys and whizzkidz
back in the middle of last century they done a lot of stock droving along the secondary roads, cattle as well as sheep.
now the next problem is that i can find enough horsesdwith riders,
baa-uut
i cannot find any red or blue cattle dogs that were used to herd them with
this is not the joke
ok, does anybody know of some?
ed, mp, yes, they took them up hills and down dales,
but dale ain't here and hill left for better pastures

2 skinny milk dairy cows on the left
2 normal cows on the right

Oh I just have to ask this Ron; why can't you get anything from the DLS black pages? Is it just my assets or do you have some general systematic problem with downloading? I can assure you that I never put any special downloading 'restrictions' on my assets. And if the black pages don't work, you are apparently using TS2010 OK, so why can't you use Content Manager to get them from the DLS? I've never herd of anyone that had such problems, but maybe I've been selectively deaf because it all works well on my end.

i can download some items.
it seems that the black dls dont like me or my connection.
often the download starts, then it stops and will not restart.
my end has been checked numerous times, but the tech cant find nothing wrong./
all the latest drivers etc are in
my games machine will never be hooked up to the net.
it has too much business stuff on it for that
i do have backups,
but when you talk about 1tb of data to be reinstalled, forget it.
its not worth it
i know other people never have nay dramas, but i do.
i've lost it twice now, so no more.
at least this way i get some time for trainz
not trying to offend you here either mate
just good sense for the way Murphy and his law keep hitting us.
do you only have your goodies on the dls?

Yes. Everything I've ever made - good or bad - is only on the DLS.
Business apps don't really need a games spec machine. A change of use of PC's would be the obvious inexpensive solution.
Added to that you can always network the PC's, you can still block internet access on one of them but enable easy file transfers.
My games PC does have internet access but only for games related stuff currently just Content manager and Windows updates, never use a browser on it never had any malware of any kind on it either, just connecting to N3V / Auran is not going to be a risk.
