even with everything ticked

deane
i will keep trying to get your cows down

thanks
ron

The kuid number is Ok and its showing up on the black DLS The name is ''cow''.

Also if you search for ''Ayrshire'' you will see my reskin of Deane's cows.

Here’s the list as requested in post #32. I’m sure you’ll eventually be able to get these. I’m not aware of anyone else having a problem. Maybe it’s linked to recently reported problems with the DLS.

Others might find the list useful, although I doubt that there are many regular users that haven’t already got these. They are so good.

Don’t forget dad and the kids – I’ve listed the bulls and calves as well.

Cheers
Casper

lots of fun and i never had any booze

cheers
and thanks
will post pics when i have them.
also after i catch up to about 500 emails

cheers
ron

I love these cows. However they made me realise how we're lacking realistic sheep for the field next door! :o

The old days

I remember when I used to drive the cattle up into the mountains with my dad on a two day drive. I sure miss those days! We had a Rottweiler/Australian sheep dog mix that could go off for miles on his own just by dad pointing a finger, find the missing cattle and bring all of them back to the point where we had advanced to. He went cross country too, not by following our trail. "Cub" was the smartest dog I have ever know of!

hi ac, casper

i agree with all of the above.

that the things i'm trying to set up.
the new route will be set in the 1960's

i want to have cattle droves and sheep droves on the country roads heading to the stations like they did back then

still can't find enough sheep that are pointing the same way.
and no red or blue cattle dogs to be found either

so far these are the cows that i found.
believe it or not,
but some i Googled and dl that way

still having huge dls dramas with nothing new showing up

yep!
sheeps is hard to find

i need a herd all heading the same way

ron

~snip~ still hoping to find some from one of the European countries.

I use Google Chrome as my standard browser. It has a translate function which, although not perfect, probably helps around 60% of the time and will automatically translate most of the text in each site page.

Hi Misterchugg, I think I will have a couple more cows (nice), but I have to find them to give you the link first.

BTW, could you post the link + indications to get the '' Toro01, <kuid:211903:36000> and the other that comes with it please ? My search brought me to Ibertrainz but I could not find them.

Thanks!
Rail4Pete

Edit: read post #303 on this page (the difficulty is to register) http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=40936&page=21&highlight=bygone+memory you get 2 horses, 2 cows and 1 goat (all 3D).

Hi Ron, would something like this do for your cattle drive?

They are Deane's (dinorius_redundicus) 3 varieties of Shorthorn cattle all facing the same way.

This is a Droving Herd Asset with Deane's cattle as a dependency.
Consisting of 24 head per asset.

Let me know what you want.

Cheers,

Bill.

bloody hell
i can't believe there is so many post about cattle:hehe: :hehe:
had a mate with property at Injune QLD
he named all his cattle on his property
BBQ1,BBQ2,BBQ3,and so on
i'll never look at cattle in the same way again:confused:
anyhow they are bloody good eating
not unless you are a vegitarian

cheers,
patchy

Well Patchy, I hope you are taking full advantage of Trainz functionality by appropriately naming each of your cattle in Surveyor>Objects>Edit properties. It is rather nice to know that Trainz software has so many different ways of replicating behaviour in the real world!

With regard to vegetarianism, the human alimentary canal is designed to consume and process both animal and plant material as its primary food source. It is therefore perfectly normal, and more healthy, to eat anything with a face (edit: humans excluded!).
