Let's play a game..

The word "Quality" is missing after Conrail.

Cheers

AJ

Not necessarily AJ. When Conrail first started they didn't have the Quality in there logo. After a few years they were noted to be the safest railroad and then changed their name to Conrail Quality for bragging rights, more or less. When they did change the name the logo also was altered to have the distinct Conrail "C" go into a Q.

WE are obviously looking at somewhere near the bottom of the locomotive. A SD45 to be exact. So there must be something wrong around the trucks.

May I take a guess that the front axle is too far forward and going into the front access steps? This seams the only notable thing I can find wrong.

Cheers,
Adam

Im gonna have a guess,
Im an Aussie so im not familiar with US Companies etc :P
But its the Conrail Logo ment to be a complete circle? I see like 3/4 parts, and its missing 1/4 of the complete circle.

I could be wrong but thats what caught my eye.

Ok. The road is covered by ballast? The front of the engine is flat, unlike other SD45 pictures? Or, is it that the front wheel goes into the steps?

I'm glad I was close!

Hello Therock, these are for you.

A big thank you to all who participated. :)
So yes, how do I fix this?

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

Sweet. I love oatmeal raisin. :D

Unfortunately the flipped polys are a mesh error that cannot be fixed without the source, best bets would be to take this up with Mr. Ramos

I was just wondering; since the rear truck doesn't suffer from this issue, I'm guessing it and the front truck are separate objects. Would it be possible to somehow replace the latter with the former? I understand trucks are not part of the locomotive's mesh but are fixed at attachment points?

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

Perhaps... although there's more than likely some reasoning behind having seperate assets for the front & back trucks.

Instead of playing game's maybe you would of received a quicker answer and a fix to the problem if you had of posted this at the forum where the creator( Who created it and gave it away for free ) I'm sure would of appreciated being informed of a problem with it.
Cheers Mick.

I understand your lack of humor, but a guessing game wouldn't harm anybody. Besides, I wasn't in a hurry to fix this.

Thank you for that Joe, I'll look into it. Excellent locomotive, as always.
