LARS glitch in PO&N "On the Hoof" session?

I am playing the Port Ogden & Northern "On the Hoof" session, and I am having a problem loading one of my flatcars at the container terminal in Newcastle. Please see the image: http://home.comcast.net/~pmm1/Nethog61_20090815_0000.jpg

For some reason one of the flatcars was only half loaded as you can see in the picture. I have tried moving the flatcar to different positions over and between the 2 sets of 3 yellow squares for the LARS industry but have had no luck. Is this a glitch or is this flatcar supposed to be empty?

Hi Net --

It's an age since I made that particular session for PO&N and my memory ain't quite what is was a decade ago.

But as I can see from your screenshot, I configured those flat cars to load several different types of containers - 40ft, 20ft, tank containers, ... .

And it might well be that I deliberately left an empty slot on that one particular car. Where I am I often see container cars that are not fully loaded and what you see in the session could well have been intentional.

I'm assuming the rest of the session works as it should?

Hi Phil.

Is there a way for me to tell if it is supposed to be intentionally empty?

I am just getting started in the session and am really enjoying Trainz 2009, PO&N and the session itself. I did spot a glitch with a switch in the Newcastle railyard - basically the switch stand for one of the switches is several hundred feet from the actual switch it controls. See the following image: http://home.comcast.net/~pmm1/Nethog61_20090815_0002.jpg

Hi Nethog --

See my post #2 in this thread:

The other "feature" of the TRS2004 version of PO&N running in TRS2009 is that the AI trainz just don't work. It's because the signaling script has changed - a signal will not clear if there is a direction marker facing towards it.

"Is there a way for me to tell if it is supposed to be intentionally empty?"

In Surveyor find that particular car, click on the Rolling Stock flyout, click on the "?" and then mouse click on the car. It will show you what I configured it to load.

I tried this and I don't think it explains why one 2 containers did not load on the car I had an issue with. When I looked at theat particular car as well as several others, each had 1 or two containers identified of the 4, with the rest a fat plus sign (which I assume means nothing configured). Yet all of the cars had 4 containers loaded except the one I had an issue with.

As for the missplaced switch handle - I assume that it is possible to fix in Trainz 2009 isn't it? Is the PO&N map no longer being maintained?

All the AI trainz seem to work fine with the two sessions that I tried so far. I did have to ignore red signals sometimes however and just look ahead to ensure that an AI train is not coming.
