Keep an eye on Euphod's post count... (very close to 15,000 posts)

Hi Trainzers,

I've been monitoring Euphod (Ed)'s post count, and he is very close to the 15,000 milestone (60 posts to go)...

In case I'm not online when he does reach it, I'd like to congratulate him on having so many posts (as well as still being number 1 on the top posters list (by count))

Now I've got to try and get there sooner or later... (probably later).

ALREADY??!!?? It didn't seem that long ago we had a 10,000 post thread!!! Congrats in advance for being so full of hot air, Ed!! And seriously, how many of those 15,000 posts are screenshots of the awesome content. The game wouldn't be the same without you, Ed, and I'd have never started in reskinning if it wasn't for you making it look so easy!! (OK, so you fooled me there, but it isn't that bad either!)

Yes, he was going to stop at 5K posts, and he did for a while....then the dam sprung a leak and gave away completely...:cool: I often wondered where Drucifer's post count would have been...he was over 13K when the forum reset six years ago. I believe the rank title at 15K back then was Trainz Deity.
 
Thanks for the encouragement Gentlemen! When the forums crashed I had over 8000 posts, but was behind the leaders at the time..Ish, Drew (who helped me with reskinning), but my chronic 'lack of a real life' saw me continuing to post. Either that or go completely insane! Life has been cruel, but not as cruel as it has been to some! I am fortunate indeed. Even though I have been able to run my big mouth this long, I have recently been reminded that I have almost "15000 posts of rubbish, and I should be more mature by now". Sobering thought. I admit to posting non essential comments often, and admit to posting freeware releases as well. I have helped a few members...maybe not as many as Shane Turner, but a few.

In the end, it's not a race, and not a contest, but lacking the social interaction that most people have, it's filled a void in my life. I work the night shift, and my failed marriage has isolated me from normal, actual friendships and I value therefore the friendships I've made on these forums. I cherish the kind words, and they do help me to continue this arduous journey. Thank you all.

My detractors will find out soon enough how horrifying life can really be, that's just the painful reality of our existence. Nobody makes it out without a boatload of pain. Yeah Matruck... you'll see, and you have my sympathy!
 
Now where would we be without your sometimes humourous posts...

It don't matter how many people have been helped by said posts, as someone somewhere is bound to find a post useful or interesting.

Since you have elected to name me here for reason's only known to you i'll leave you a reply here for you to see. I don't need your sympathy because i have a life away from Trainz and a real family and real friends who i can call on, Pain and a horrifying life eh ? Do you think your alone or special Get over it Ed and stand on your own two feet and stop blaming other's or sumthing else for your fail's in your life.
Yeah i've had a failed marriage too so you aint anything special so i gave up driving interstate to keep the second wife, I would respect a new member to the forum more with only one single post to their name then you with 20,000 post's. Grow up Ed and get a life and take half ya friend's with ya i couldn't care less for half of em anyway one way or the other as there is a life outside your PC.

Thats good - based on your post I mistakenly thought that me having over ten thousand posts would lose me respect. Perhaps I need to understand posts better.

Put it what ever sarcastic way suite's your purpose tonight Shane i couldn't care. Perhaps instead of trying to understand posts better try understanding the person making the post better ?.
 
That would make better sense - I'm guessing my disability doesn't help me much either, but that's another story entirely, and not one for me to bring up here.
